LINUX Support Engineer - Ates Networks
Ideal Candidate:
Due to continuing growth we are looking to hire a Support Engineer, with a first experience in UNIX / Linux.
Degree in Software Engineering or student in year 4/5 (final) is required.
This is the ideal role for a talented Engineer with a genuine interest in the telecommunication networks domain, looking to join a cutting edge company.
Job description:
To be considered, you must have:
1. First experience (proven, practical) in UNIX-based systems (CentOS, Red-Hat, Ubuntu).
2. Basic knowledge in programing or scripting in languages like Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby
3. Basic knowledge of networking TCP/IP protocols.
The following are considered a plus:
1. Experience in database administration (MySQL).
2. Experience in web servers administration like Tomcat, Apache.
3. Experience with virtualization (VMware).
You should also have the ability to deliver in a commercial software production, deadline driven environment, whilst working in a team. Short travel abroad missions for engaging with customers are required from time to time.
